Built as a private residence on property acquired by William Hedges in 1652, the Hedges' became an inn and remained in the family until the 1920s. Listed in The National Register of Historic Places, The Hedges Inn today has a distinctive ambiance that extends throughout the public spaces to the twelve guest bedrooms all with private bath.
